As a creator, I believe that, sometimes, you have to make things for the pure joy of making things. The mooderator was a prime example. Built on Raspberry Pi, we developed a series of playful buttons that rewarded employees for registering their mood with a gif.

Not only did this smart-yet-silly idea encourage employees to check in with themselves and their company more often, but it provided valuable data and insights into employee satisfaction. All in a contagious visual language that only took a second to understand.
