Quiet On Set .
Personally, I'm a fan of old mechanical display systems. The movement, the contrast, the way the light reflects off every letter as it turns. Odd for a digital technologist, I know, but I can’t help but admire their naturally perfect imperfection. That said, they are a fair bit noisy, which is one reason why so many locations have swapped them out for LCDs. Given my early experience in home theaters, I couldn’t help but come up with a solution: noise cancelling waveforms built right into the mechanics. Like the headphones we wear everyday, but grander.
